Instructors:
Kevin A. Smith (Auto Technology Company) and Pat Carmody (National Exposure Testing) present the workshop.
Kevin is the chairman of ASTM G01.05.03.01 Task Group on Salt Spray Testing, co-chair of the SAE Automotive Corrosion & Prevention Committee, US voting member for ISO TC35 and active member of the Auto/Steel Partnership Corrosion Task Force and the SAE committee on the development of a new cosmetic test for auto body aluminum.
Pat has spent 19 years in the paint and pretreatment business . His unique experience has given him the opportunity to consult on various paint and pretreatment systems for improved corrosion performance. Pat brings a vast knowledge in terms of evaluating possible root cause for corrosion failure.
